  The OPR says Agnes was born May 22, 1851 and christened January 15, 1851. Since this is obviously impossible, it may be that the dates should be reversed (i.e. born January 15, 1851 and christened May 22, 1851). She was also known as Agnes Girr.

• v. William; born 8/12/1857 at Parton, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland; died 11/15/1865 at Porterlooss, Balmaclellan, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland, at age 8; buried 11/11/1865 at Balmaclellan, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland.

2. Robert² McGirr (David¹) was born on 2/15/1847 at Killochy, Balmaclellan Parish, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland. He married Violet Ann Chalmers, daughter of William Chalmers and Isabella Mitchel, in 1884 at Dumfries, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. He died on 6/19/1888 at Balmaclellan Village, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland, at age 41. He was buried in 1888 at Balmaclellan, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland.
